Bureau IMAC merges into a new crop optimization department within Anthura

Bureau IMAC Bleiswijk B.V. will terminate its paid services with effect from 1 January 2021 and will cease to exist. Its years of knowledge and experience will be retained, however, because both Andre Lont and Mark van de Ven will be transferred to the new crop optimization department at Anthura. The latter took this step on 1 July as crop specialist for Phalaenopsis, while Andre will follow as crop specialist for Anthurium on 1 January 2021.   According to Andre Lont, the director of IMAC, the bureau’s independence stands in the way of optimization. He announced that all promised agreements will be respected and that customers of Bureau IMAC will be supported in finding the independent advice they need.  Crop Optimization department Anthura The crop optimization department focuses primarily on technical issues relating to cultivation. Andre and Mark will continue to advise Anthura’s customers on the technical characteristics of varieties and crops. In this way, they support the account managers in technical cultivation issues and contribute to the exchange of knowledge. Furthermore, they fully map out the variety characteristics of the Anthura assortment, support the Anthura production locations, and initiate cultivation research.
